Thank you Mark! Follow up questions, can I gather other fruit limbs... & what flavors work best with what meat?

A friend trimmed his pecan tree and brought me the limbs. There about 1.5" in dia. tappering down to .75". All are 5-6' long. Is this worth aging? If so, how should I cut the limbs & how long should it dry out? Thanks, Larry
