My 14.5 WSM has been able to cook meat for up to about 6-8 people during a single cook. I also like how portable my WSM 14.5 is, it's easy to bring Camping, Tailgating, etc...
Thanks! I figured I'd experiment a little. I could taste a very slight hint of it, I mixed in about 1 1/2 tsp of instant coffee and some brown sugar to the rub mixture and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
I smoked this tri-tip until on my WSM 14.5 to 135 Degrees, then I allowed it to rest while I transferred the charcoal from my 14.5 WSM to my 18 inch Kettle Grill where I reversed seared the tri tip to finish it off. :)
I just installed the 3" River Country on my 14.5 WSM once I got the 1/2 hole and enlarged slightly I just screwed my thermometer in through the hole and got a nice tight fit then once I had a position to my liking I just put on the washer and tightened the nut.
