I am thinking of investing a Smoke EZ, I have a WSM and I was looking to have the capabilities of a 22.5 maybe twice a year. So I dont think that warants the $400 investment in the big WSM.
I already have a a rotisserie and I have mounted grill racks near the top edge so that I can use it as a...
I am of the frame of mind that if nothing but charcoal was used and nothing else (i.e. accelerants) in this grill it should not melt under any circumstance no matter what the application of the charcaol is.
I would think it would be a liability issue for Weber if it was in fact true that the...

I bought 3 of those Ebay ProQ WSM stackers, 2 worked great after flipping them over and re-locating the grate supports and installing additional supports to hold a water bowl.
I use 1 on a SJ platinum to make it into a sweet little smoker. the other I sold to a friend who used the conversion...
Hey all, I bought a new SJG today to replace my old weather worn SJS after 15 years of duty old reliable was beginning to rust through in more than 1 spot and the grates were beyond cleaning now.
As soon as I brought the SJG home I popped open the box and pulled the bowl out. I had the bottom...
I found 4 clay saucers this past week. 2 of them are 12.5" 2 are 16" . The 12.5" fit nicely into the foiled water pans for my Weber smokers which are a WSM and a Jumbo Joe with a Pro Q WSM stacker mod.
1 16 fit nicely into the bottom of my Pro Q excell 20 pan. The other I placed on top of a...
While I think the 22.5 is the most awesome dollar value inj a charcoal smoker there is, because of my needs and yes the nestalga too I would not let go of my 18.5 WSM.
I have about 25 cooks under that ole gal and I have made many people smile eating that super q that comes out of these fine...
I'll start of saying that I think the WSM 22.5" is the most awsome bullet smoker ever manufactured. They are just the bomb when it comes to volume or even competition cooking.
That said I do think the WSM 18.5 is a better fit when the extra space is not a neccasity. I do not own a WSM...
Hey all, good morning from Indiana. I started this smoke at 11pm it is now 6:30am. I am cooking a small brisket using Kingsford Competition for the first time.
I loaded the bowl with an entire 12 lb bag of the K-Comp. save about 3/4 of a chimney which I lit to a burning glow all the way...

I have purchased 3 of those Pro Q WSM stackers and yes for what they are designed for they are a BPOS.
I have had great succes flipping them over and re-locating thehardware to support a waterbowl and rack and either use it under the WSM center or use it with an 18.5 webernwith the same flip...
