Good morning all! Starting hour 8 of my all nighter and first ever brisket. 12.5 untrimmed weight. Temp is sitting at 160 and 18" smokey mountain is grooving right along. All I have to say is, thank god for coffee!

If I ever use a store bought sauce its almost always Stubbs. I just picked up a bottle of Hickory Bourbon for some grilled smoked sausage and I thought it was pretty good. I'll have to try the marinade for beef.

Man what a pain in the ***. I am amazed I was even able to do anything in it. I managed some spectacular ribs from it maybe 3-4 times. Otherwise it was a exercise in futility.
