If I ever use a store bought sauce its almost always Stubbs. I just picked up a bottle of Hickory Bourbon for some grilled smoked sausage and I thought it was pretty good. I'll have to try the marinade for beef.

Damn you guys are good. I pulled em early and man....best ribs I've ever made. My ladyfriend said she never has to go out for ribs again. Thanks for the tip on pulling em early. They were perfect!

I tried the bend test and they were still pretty firm. Never hear of the toothpick test. How does that work?

That is the very one! Man what a pain in the ***. I am amazed I was even able to do anything in it. I managed some spectacular ribs from it maybe 3-4 times. Otherwise it was a exercise in futility.

haha, thanks guys. been nicknamed "Hippie" for a long time so it's stuck. Everyone has clever forum handles but my creativity was on vacation. I'll be doing a couple slabs of ribs on Sunday to test drive it so I'm sure I'll be around ALOT in the near future. Can't wait!
