I a SS grate with center hole. Cheap Amazon one. I figured out the propane connection, made a new modern one that works. Might just post in a separate thread as there isn't much out there. So now I need to figure out charcoal basket, something reasonable price.

I was wondering about the regulator. Everything is threaded together, so assuming it all works I could just replace the hose and the quick disconnect with a modern LB connection. The regulator is Marshal model 210. Which looks like they can be purchased still.

Grill is not a year old, thermometer is way off. Is there a better one? Or just the OEM from Weber?

Maybe I need a wire rack to allow it to breath. And the Grill is 100% covered from the elements on my covered porch.

I have a new Genesis II with the metal cabint. I have griddle and smoke box I dont want to scratch and rust my cabinet. Thoughts on protection? Was thinking cutting thin plywood and sealing it.

I have my weber genesis I bought years ago. The tube frame has rot. And I want an enclosed portion with doors. Anyone built anything like this? I was thinking steel stud frame, then skin with a lighter stone? Like an outdoor kitchen
