NOpe, all that will be hidden by the end caps. You could grab some high heat paint and dab it on there, but from my experience, that won't be an issue for a Loooong time.

I agree Larry. I think the tank scale things are dumb anyway. If Weber is going to cut a few $$$$, I would think they could skip the scale assembly and just put a hook to hang the tank on. But, this is a kind of special build and I want to keep it as close to original as possible. No matter...

I am sure that is true Larry. But this is a Genesis 1-5. They had different tank scales and possibly required the scale sticker in a different position. My tank scale has a straight pointer.

I hope to source one. And yes, please measure it and let me know. It does have fat white walls on my grill too.

Cody, my grill likely should have the old style sticker as well. And yes, my grill did come with casters.

I am going to assume it is the same on mine. However, mine was born as a Natural Gas grill and therefore didn't have a sticker. Jon told me that it probably was an old style sticker anyway. My grill was born 12/5/1989 and looking at the 1990 product catalog from Weber, it seems he is correct.
