They are not normal spray paint. My sand blaster guys says the panels I have brought him are powder coated and he says it is a lot harder to blast clean than regular painted metal.

I would probably drill a hole in the bracket and zip tie it in place. I think that is what @MarkCuda does.

Glad I can help. I am having my son cut the pipe sections at work with the band saw so they are nice and uniform and square. Then i will strip down some old burner tubes for the shutters and weld them on. I hope to get this completed by the end of the week and I will get them out to you.
