Looking for recommendations on grill brushes.

Oh, you can, I grill all winter long. Nice thing is that firing up the grill melts much of that cold white stuff away.

Val, let us know your thought when you get them and have a chance to use them. It does sound like the chain mail design is the next big thing for grill brushes.

Dan, you will only get two wheels. I ordered 5 of these and only got 5 pairs of wheels. I was expecting ten .

Hey, Cody, did you get TWO SETS or TWO individual wheels in each package?

I think there is some trick with wadding up a hand full of aluminum foil and scraping the grates with that. But, I have never tried it and don't know if it works well or not.

200 grills need to be saved from the scrap yard in Northern Virginia!!!!!

Thanks Val. I appreciate the shout out. 95% of everything I know about Weber grills I learned on this forum. There is a LOOOOT of sharing going on here along with the Weber Enthusiasts. And it seems like I learn something every time I get on the forum.

Question about converting from propane to natural gas

GTN: Just keep your eyes on the sale sites like FB MP and CL. I realize you have a newer model Weber grill, but people dump them for a lot of reasons. Moving to a home that doesn't have NG, car ran into it in the garage, it had a nuclear meltdown grease fire, blew off the deck in a wind...

Remove stuck manifold screws Genesis 1000

That fix can be done larry as long as there is enough of the old "Boss" left to mount the slide rail at the proper height. Some times they crumble down to nubs and then you have to make even more mods to solve that problem.

Question about converting from propane to natural gas

GTN, I just caution you to be very cautious with your grill the first few times you use it after doing the orifice mod. You will want to not only test it for top end heat, but also low end. You might find it is very low and hard to hold a flame and prone to going out with wind....with the gas...

Another source is to find a NG version of your grill to scavange the NG manifold from. You might possibly find a used (but genuine Weber) NG manifold on Ebay.

Yah, rust. My sworn enemy. The problem with those Gen2 grills, even the open cart ones is that the supports rust just as bad as the slats and those are welded in. So not easily replaced.

I mostly stick to Silver/Gold/Platinum B and C grills, but I am finding that harder to do with the rehab candidates getting more and more scarce. I also think that the customer base is becoming more and more in tune with the newer versions as well.
