    Cook #3, Basic Barbecued Chicken

So for my 3rd outing with my WSM we decided to try the Basic "Barbecued Chicken", it couldnt have been easier. My wife made some Piri-Piri seasoning that we applied the day before. It took about 15 minutes longer than the recipe suggested. Start of the cook. After 45 minutes applied BBQ...

Smoke #2 for New Years Day

Some more info on the cook for those who have asked. For the chicken I used a rub called "Lindberg-Snider Red Baron Barbecue Spice". For the ribs I used 2 different kinds, 2 was Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue All-Purpose Barbecue Rub (we have had some for years), the other 1 was a general...

Opinion on my FUSE method setup

I thought it was an "option" for both? I wouldn't do it for a long smoke but just thought it was a good idea for a shorter cook. I have read about it on several forums/websites. I am very familiar with saving the leftover charcoal, do it all the time on my kettle.

    My first smoke, Pork Butts

Opinion on my FUSE method setup

I am considering trying gout the fuse method but could not find any pictures of what it really looks like. This is the setup that I think is what it is supposed to look like.

    Surf City smoker

Well I just added the WSM 22.5 to my Weber collection. I am looking forward to lots of killer food soon. I have done some smoking on my kettle with the smokenator kit, with fairly good results. Santa was good to me this year, thanks Santa!
