Meat Slicer Grease?

That's odd, mine says to grease the gears on the back of the blade and the slicer side. There's a heavy white grease on there now, but a little less every time I use it.

My bad. When I searched for chefs choice, it gave me their knife sharpener inst sheet (you didn't provide a model # but my mistake For not being more observant).

Food grade vaseline can be used. Found at sausage making places (as you found) . Apparently it is also used in faucets??. Try a plumbing store. Might have it in a more convenient size.

I did find this though

The grease I use comes in a small tube (about the size model glue came in when I was a kid). That grease gun would be overkill.
