Your thoughts on this?

Looks like a flipper trying to make a buck to me.
I see a rotisserie bracket mounted, but no mention
of the rotisserie being included. I would most certainly
ask of its whereabouts. Floor pan is shockingly in great
shape. I would have spent 30 minutes and had the
inside of the hood shining like the rest of the grill.

$150 tops here in flyover country.

I love that crimson color of red. But I think it is missing the left hand drop down table. And, he used cheap replacement parts. $200 or a bit less is probably a pretty good price range for that. The pictures are not very good on it, so a little hard to tell.

He had something potentially nice to work with, but the final product seems very lacking to me. Just doing the logo nicely would have helped. For all the ads I see in a 150 mile radius around me, I have seen very, very few classic Webers that have been truly well-restored. I hope to do something about that this summer:o. It will be interesting to see what the market will turn out to be.

Thanks for the input.

A guy called me the next day after he saw the ad in the Bay Area.

He didn’t want to haul one all the way up here. He was happy with how clean it was and liked the fact that he wasn’t going to spend 3 - 4 hours working on it.

He happily paid my price plus a small delivery fee!
