Your going to laugh at me......

I bought the 22 and decided it was too big. Took it back, got home, and went back and got it back. Glad i did...............d

I went through the same thing when I was looking to buy one. The store had both of them side-by-side, and after thinking of each of them and putting meat in them, decided for the extra hundred to go big. Best decision I ever made.

I got the 18, because I found a deal for a BNIB 2013 model for $200.
When I was initially shopping (before I found that deal), my wife told me to get the 22 as she knows I'll want the bigger one sooner or later. lol.
The deal was too good to pass up and so far, I'm happy with the 18.
I'm not saying a 22 isn't in my future though. ;)

I have the 18 and am happy with it. I never cook enough to need the 22. I also have another 18 that I bought off of CL so I have two if needed.

Frank, maybe we can get "Binford" tools to make one... ARRRR ARRRRR ARRRRRR ! :wsm:

AL - THATS IT! I was trying to decide what logo to put on a mini when I make it, will be "Binford Tools" LOVE IT

I had decided on the 18.5, even bought a spare grate for $8. My wife was going to give it to me for fathers day (and birthday). I started calling around trying to find one, they are all backordered. The local Ace Hardware in Walpole had a 22.5 on the floor. Since my wife wanted to give me a WSM not a picture of one (suggested by Bass Pro) I made a quick decision.

I am now the proud father of a WSM 22.5

It was already assembled and I put it on the back patio, but the wife said I have to leave it covered until Sunday! No taking the cover off, that is why it seems shy in the picture with the other grills.

Now I will have to sell the ProQ stacker that I bought figuring on the 18.5

The 22.5 is more than I need but dang it looks impressive on the patio!

I open it up and my trusty Golden and I assemble the 18.5 WSM. I place it in our pavilion and show it off to the family.
Then I go to bed wondering if I should have bought the 22.5..........

Sure wanted to Smoke this weekend but will have to wait for it to arrive.
Am I nuts or are you all just making me that way!??????

Size does matter. Much like a television screen you will never wish it was smaller.

Well Jeff coming from "Al" you for sure fit the Binford Tim the Tool Man class even Heidi would be impressed by that collection of yours wow!
Happy Fathers Day!

HAHA I love my 18.5 inch wsm but next year I will get the 22.5 inch. I will just use them for different things or size of cook or use both

I am glad I got the 22. From seeing what people have to do to shoehorn larger cuts onto the 18 I don't regret the 22 at all. I at first was dismayed at how much fuel it was using but now that its seasoned in i've noticed my fuel usage go down by about a 1/3.
