Last night I tried the Peach trimmings on my grill to cook burgers. I used the small pieces, less than 1" in diameter. After burning down, there was a nice peachy smoke. While burning down there was a pretty heavy smoke coming off. Do small pieces of wood with more surface area and bark produce a heavier smoke? Were 10 4 inch pieces too many? The end product was good but I did let the wood burn down before grilling.
