Apologies if this has been discussed previously.
I was out in the back cleaning up the WSM after last nights cook, & generally pottering about with my Q stuff.
I looked at the SJG and realised I was not too happy with the little fella. Poor heat management. I know there are plenty of mods that could be done to improve the airflow & get the heat up. Then I had a Eureka moment!
The Craycort CI Grate from the SJG fits perfectly in the charcoal bowl of the Bullet. The lid of the SJG fits perfect also. (Why didn't I think of this before?..
).
I know I now don't have the lid bale, but I'm not bothered about that. I could use a bungee cord if I wanted to transport it. Looks like I may have a nice little "hot-griller" for those quick cooks & reverse sears. Gonna try it out tonight.
SWMBO says that if it works she is going to make a flower-pot out of the SJG bowl......bless!
