As always I just cant stop messing with my WSM. This time Im trying Smoke Daddy pellet hopper...........=)
Did just first "dry run" with it just to see how it works. I like it for now. Will cook some Q with it soon.
It takes me about 5 minutes to go from charcoal to pellets or pellets set up to charcoal set up.

Yes I did not go with the ring. Figured it would be just too much empty useless space to heat up.
This way I may save on fuel....maybe. Also with the ring its just way too easy=)

Interesting .....

It looks like you've gone into the side of the Smoker without the extension ring.
So you've just attached them both to the platform in the correct position for the hopper to go into the bowl and be held in position without the original mounting brackets ?

I'm curious to also see how it looks with the hopper removed ( when you're running charcoal ).


I'm waiting on my 22.5 " WSM to arrive from the U.S, and I've just purchased a few toys to go with it.

One of these Pellet Hoppers is probably going to be the next thing on my list, because I'm interested in using it with my Kettles
as well ( with a Smoke E-Z).

So I'll be interested in hearing reports on how these Pellet Hoppers perform with the WSM ( or kettles ).

When Im not using the hopper I just pull it out of there and use the piece of WSM bowl that I did cut out to "patch" the hole with high heat tape. Works great.
