WSM clone?

Was in WallyMart the other day and saw a Kingsford "water smoker" on sale for 39.99.It looks like a small WSM. I hadn't noticed them before, and I don't want one, but does anyone have any feedback on these? Sure sounds like a cheap option for anyone looking for a small smoker.

The magic of the ECB and their clones :)

i graduated from a stock ECB (el cheapo brinkmann) to a highly modded ECB to a WSM mini to kettles to legit WSM's.

There are no dampers but the unit isn't sealed so there is airflow around the bowl. Your only temp control is managing your charcoal and how much you have lit. You are either reloading often or you are a minion or snake master. Temp control was hopeless at first but knowing what i know now i'd like to think i could make it work in a pinch.
 
yeah... & don't forget about opening the door, adding charcoal & using a hair dryer to get things going again.
