WSM 18.5 Assembly / Fiber Washers

My groomsmen this weekend gave me a WSM 18.5 cooker and a handful of other accessories for my wedding. I just finished assembling the smoker according to the video posted on this blog, but am left with six fiber washers. Even though Chris only used the fiber washers when connecting the grill straps to the middle cooking section, was I also supposed to use the fiber washers when connecting the legs to the bottom bowl? If so, where?

- in between the screw head and the outside of the bowl?
- in between the metal washer and the inside of the bowl? Or
- in between the metal washer and the nut?

This. Put the fiber washers up against the porcelain to protect it from the metal. I *think* there were enough to go inside and outside the bowl.
