Hi all! New guy here, just bought my first WSM a few weeks ago. I too bought a 14.5 on sale at OSH. Been looking at WSM's for quite awhile, just never could get the the stars and my budget to come together to pull the trigger on one. Went to OSH on a Sunday , to get some new light bulbs for the kitchen and they had a 14.5 on sale for 149.00. I thought about that smoker the rest of the day and night. I went back first thing Monday morning and bought it! 99% of the time, it's just the wife and I, so I really don't need a 22.5. I thought I'd grab the 14.5 and get started with it. If it turns out not to be big enough, I'll work my way up to the 18.5, and use the smaller WSM when we are camping. So far, I've only had time to season mine, but I'm really looking forward to some great cooks with it.I bought a ThermoWorks ChefAlarm and a ThermoWorks DOT, so I should be good to go thermometer wise.
