WSK replacement thermometer

Good evening everyone,
Since joining I’ve been digging up good info in this forum. Thank you
All for that. One thing I have been looking for specifically is has anyone here replaced their dome thermometer with a Tel Tru thermometer? Mine seems to work fine I just have the most experience with Tel Tru in my other grills so I was thinking I’d like to get one with a glow in the dark face if possible.

I have not but was considering replacing the stock dome thermo. However, I bought a ThermoPro for monitoring the grate level temps. I tested it the other day and the dome temp (on the stock thermo) vs the grate temp were about 5 - 10 degrees apart (to be expected given the difference in height from the fire. So I’d say the stock dome thermo, in my case - is a pretty good guide for actual temps. If you have a Maverick or ThermoPro temp probe - try the test yourself. If not, that might be money better spent.

Installed a Combustion Inc Giant Grill Gauge.
Paid a stupid amount to get one of the first ones.
One or two teething issues but a lot of pluses

Last week I noticed my stock thermometer on the WSK E6 is no longer accurate at low temps and I'll be looking for a replacement.

my large BGE has a Tel-True that is working great since 2011, and I've seen it used in many other applications.

I expect the challenge will be finding one that fits the OEM Bezel.

That’s what I’m thinking too. If you find one please report back.
