Those are the same doors and storage design as the Summit 450/650 from 2002 and earlier, but wider due to the control panel being on the right side. The door latch mechanism can be a little wiggy, though. The wire bottom does allow debris and rats into the storage area, however.

Yeah. I noticed they have a twisty latch instead of magnets. I remember your rat/mouse problem.
