Hey everyone,

My WSM is 10 years old and the wooden handle is about to break does anyone know where I can get a wooden replacement Weber Handle? I called Weber and they only have the grey plastic ones available.

Any help would be great.

Best Regards,

Does your Smokey Joe have wood handles? Maybe you could swap one of those and make do with the smokey joe.

Or you could keep your eyes open for garage sales and the free section of Craigslist and look for an old trashed Smokey Joe or kettle. It isn't hard to rehab an old handle if it just needs sanding and a coat of mineral oil.

i had that problem. i got some decent ones from a member of my car list so got lucky there. sometimes a person sells some home made ones on ebay. i was just gonna make some from some large dowel, cut in half and formed a bit and use the old ones as a pattern.
there are some copycat grills out there with wooden handles that might work. some folks just use the newer style but i sure prefer the wood. the ones that i do have i have treated with food grade mineral oil.

my first reaction was wow, $$$$$$. but then if you think of buying stuff and the time, etcm maybe its not a bad deal not for me but hey, its hard to dress up a kettle so not a bad deal.

The Lawn Ranger website looks pretty cool. I may have to do that. Thanks for the info and link Dann.

Sure, no problem. I have seen some of these on BGE's, but not any Weber units yet.

I king of like Weber's newer composite handles. We still have a few with the older wooden ones, but they tend to dry out and fall apart after a while.

There's someone selling new wooden handles and used wooden handles on ebay right now.

Just do a search "Weber wooden handles"

I bought some of the new ones in the past and they are very nice.
