Beef Butter BBQ opened on Madison's north side a few years ago and has a pretty good reputation, so on a sunny day in early February I made the drive to check it out.
Technology is EVERYWHERE!
My plate with brisket, a hot link, and some pulled pork.
Everything was properly cooked and I liked the hot link, but my personal palate would've liked more smoke - which is how it often seems to be in this part of the country. The mac & cheese was very creamy (as one would expect in WI) and my wife liked the potato salad and key lime pie (I can't remember if it was made there or sourced locally), so overall it was worth the drive and I'd definitely eat there again to try out some of the other menu items.
