Wireless Apple Car Play adapter?

To adapt Car Play wirelessly to a head unit that has it as "wired"? Or as a total solution. If the total solution see my thread https://tvwbb.com/threads/canceled-sirius-xm.97846/
This is an EXCELLENT solution for both Car Play and Android Auto. Here are more photos as well of the completely finished install in my 2011 Toyota Highlander (though I am using Android Auto) you should get the idea.
If your current radio already has Car Play and you just want it to be wireless then I HIGHLY recommend the Motorola MA1 Wireless adapter. Installed one in my 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. They're VERY highly regarded and extremely easy to set up
here are the photos of my Highlander setup. If this is what you need I can report back some of how I did it

Side thread: Getting ready to replace the head unit on my Outback for something that has wireless CarPlay. Almost 14 years old and still running so well - only thing I miss is the tech. Plus, I have a new driver in the house and I don't want him to even be tempted to look at his phone while driving. I'm looking at a Sony unit, but that might be overkill for a car this old. Any suggestions?

Look at my thread. Same boat here (other than new driver). 14 yo car, no tech other than Bluetooth. Last thing I wanted to do was drop all kind of $$$ on a new head and all the troubles that come with that. Honestly check out what I did here and on the actual thread I noted. WAY WAY easier, and allows you to add some really cool tech

I bought a Motorola ME1 adapter (works for Apple Car Play and Android Auto). My 2020 RAV 4 Limited Hybrid has both AA and Car Play. We're droids, but our RAV has wireless Car Play but it was wired AA only. So, you plug in the ME1 and it works like a champ.

I'm out of luck trying to adapt Android Auto to my car... The available adapter is $650 and you need to disassemble parts of the dash and center console. I'm ok with Pandora via Bluetooth and the stock Lexus infotainment.

Did you see my thread on what I did to my car? Man, it works OUTSTANDING!

Won't work. I already have a 12" navigation/infotainment screen that is the Lexus factory installed. I would need to go with something like this:https://www.beatsonicusa.com/lexuscarplayandroidauto.html

Not worth it. I have Pandora for $5/month...no ads, skip as much as you want with the steering wheel control and Google Maps plays the directions just fine through Bluetooth...I don't need to see the map in front of me, although I do with the Lexus navigation. I just use the map interface...no directions. Lexus navigation is clunky.

Try the USB Dongle I mentioned. Motorola MA1. It works like a champ in our RAV4 which is likely a very similar system. My only gripe with it is that it's difficult to switch between phones if you have more than one paired.
