Will a coffee grinder grind dried Hot peppers along with the seeds

I have quite a few dried hot peppers and the Black pepper mills don't grind the peppers fine enough. I want the hot peppers to be ground to the consistency of black pepper, seeds and all. Blenders and food processors just don't do the job.

Well I'm no expert, but since coffee grinders with the little spinning blades can also grind spices, I think I'd try it and see. It's really more like chopping as opposed to a burr grinder, but I think you could get your peppers chopped to a very fine dust-like quality if you wanted to.

I grind most of my spice mixtures (to blend). Turns anything and everything into a fine powder if you let it run long enough (like 25 seconds ! ) so I'd say yes. Just check it to ensure the grind you want.

It's dedicated to spices as I don't want hab coffee :)
