Morning!,
I have a 10 lb. Butterball going in Sunday and was looking for some Do's and Dont's. Possibly some seasoning suggestions as well? Thanks Folks
George

I stand my turkey's when smoking them, however I've seen some very successful cooks here, with the bird laying down

Good luck with your cook! (the stand below can be bought anywhere, I got mine at Cabella's)

Turkeys are great when you smoke them. Try putting some wood in Cabernet Sauvignon for a while then add to the fire will have a nice ring on your bird when you cut it. Enjoy

My wife makes me do two turkeys when I smoke one, first she wants the turkey smells in the kitchen and second she is not a fan of smoked food other than ribs and brisket
