whole hog on a Primo oval XL!

Just found this at youtube and if it can be done in the Primo oval XL it sure can be done in the wsm.

Anyone have a photo/story/vid about this done in the wsm?

it's not a kamodo either, it's a Primo oval XL. much more grate space than the WSM. i doubt you could fit anything but a small suckling on the WSM.

The Primo XL's grate measures about 18.5" x 25" for 400 sqin.

The 22" WSM's grate measures 21.5" for 363 sqin.

I dunno ... seems like a small piglet would fit.

travis, i was talking about the 18.5 wsm. i keep forgetting we have a 22.5 now.

Well, cooking one on the 22" is certainly an idea, but I think my preference would be the method shown here. Pics are downscreen.
