Where to place meat temp probe in brisket??

Doing a brisket soon. Just my second brisket I've smoked. Where's the best spot to put the meat temp probe?

I put mine in the center of the flat section about an inch or so from the junction of the point and the flat.

Thickest part of the flat. What Kelley said would work.
