I got passed over, again.

This one’s been in the works since Dec 2023. Wife and I spent the last year planning it. Kind of exhausting prep work. Even managed to marry off a son in there.

In the last 2 years, we bought the new house, planned that house, had it built, planned one wedding, marketed and sold a house, moved into the new house, did Rome, Greek isles, and Barcelona, a 10 day Caribbean cruise and now this trip. I’m tired. Here goes! Wheels up!
 
That is a view I saw a lot of and seriously never got tired and still miss to this day. Except I would have likely been driving the jet bridge up to that beast

"We're going to have fun, even if it kills us, dammit!" Seriously, though, isn't much of the fun of vacationing in the planning and the anticipation? Time seems to speed up when you are finally on the go and then it's gone before you know it. It's a good vacation if you have to go back to work to catch up on your rest!
