Where to buy bone-in Butt

I've looked around central NJ for bone-in pork butt, but every store in the area seems to sell only boneless. Anyone know which store I may have missed?

That's a good idea. I think the local BJ's has bone-in. If you can get the wholesale card, Restaurant Depot has bone-in also. Good luck.

I found bone-in at the local wegmans. The costco here only has boneless. Surprisingly the wegman butts were the same price as costco.

Pathmark is running a sale this week. They've usually got both the butt and picnic.

I was just in the Brick location and they had a bunch of both.

Hey Jeff - Wegmans always has them, and I'm sure there's one near you. Other than that I have seen them in all the major chains in SE PA.

Another thought - Is there a smaller chain around you that sells as a meat market. In SE PA for example Colonial Village is great, don't know if they have stores in Jersey or not. I pretty much always get my BI butts there. Good quality.

Where are you in NJ? Gotta be bone in butt somewhere near you IMHO.

Thanks. Good suggestions.
When I went to Restaurant Depot they only had boneless, but that was a while ago.

Wegmans is a bit of a haul, but it's always a fun place to shop! I'll give it a try.

Jeff-

If you're having issues at grocery stores, look up some local butchers and tell them what you want...they will either order one for you (which shouldn't take more than a couple days) or they will tell you to come in and cut one for you on the spot
