Where do you put your temp probe?

Where do you mount/locate your temp probe when you have a large chunk o meat on the top grate?

Obviously the probe can't be above the grate in the center, and if you hang/mount it below in the center, won't you get an inaccurate reading due to cooling effect of the cool(er) meat directly above?

Should I mount my probe off centered above the grate away from the meat?
