I'll be cooking an apple juice brined turkey on Saturday as part of a late Thanksgiving dinner with some of my family. I was thinking of placing some quartered apples or something in the cavity. Any recommendations on this? I've heard of stuffing with apples, oranges, and onions but not sure if any of these really add any flavor to the meat or not. Anyone care to share their experiences on this? Anyone use anything else to stuff with that added flavor? Thanks.
