What to do with dried parsley?

I have a jar of parsley that I dried from a plant in my garden this year. I didn't want to throw it out after the season so I dried it. What can I use it for? The only thing I ever use parsley for is as a garnish. I never see recipes that use it as part of the ingredients. As I said I only see it used as a garnish. Any ideas out there?

Dave, I do the same thing. Unfortunately, dried parsley doesn't carry anywhere the flavor of fresh. Despite this, I'm constantly throwing a bit into a simmering stock or soup. A light rub on fish or chicken, and into an omelet... What does it provide? Sometimes, as with most commercial versions, virtually nothing. However, as I found with my own dried basil, unlike the commercial products, I can still find a bit of the herb and it's flavor.

Dump it in a brown paper lunch-size bag, add the rind from one apple, any amount of used coffee grounds (decaf or regular will work), and finally, any stray pet hair found in the kitchen or else where in the house then toss the entire bag in the garbage. Problem solved.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. "My" dried parsley has a bit of flavor and aroma... It is NOT the stuff I've purchased that was in fact "green confetti". JMO

I don't want to throw it out. If anything, I will just continue to use it as a garnish.

And I agree with you Jim, you are a smart@ss.

Parsley, along with cilantro and chervil, doesn't retain its fresh qualities very well, imo. I avoid them all in dried form.

Kevin, without tipping his hat, agrees with my initial statement, "toss the entire bag in the garbage".
As for my former statement, "Yes, sometimes, I am a smart@ss", I stand by it.

And to quote Gary in NJ, "zero flavo(u)r."
