Yeah, a few years back my Dad bought us a package from Omaha steaks and the steaks were so disappointing. The ground beef was fine but the steaks were terrible.
It's been many, many years since I bought Omaha Steaks. I was not impressed with the value proposition and never bought them again.
Mail order steaks are always going to be expensive, here are some great ones...but IMHO you're always better off finding a good local butcher with quality meat.

I have gotten a few things from SNR and sure it's pricey but they are some of best mail order products I've gotten. Wish I still had a good quality butcher. Lots of the ones in my area closed becuase parents wanted out of the business and the kids had no interest in it.
