What are you fixing for Super Bowl?


 
Super Bowl sunrise:

Brisket is coming to room temp, while the PBC is warming up

Into the PBC. Cold this morning it was 10* when I got it on.

Ready to foil after 2.5 hrs.

Brought the brisket in when it reached *200. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing

Sliced the point

Flat sliced

Plated pic, the sides were Deb's potato salad & beans.

The brisket was very tender. Just as tender as the win tonight.
Was a great game. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

As I expected, Russ, your SRF Gold brisket is a thing of beauty. Congratulations to the Broncos on the Super Bowl, and a tip of the cap to your Defense from this New England fan.
 
Congratulations to you Denver fans!

Your defense stopped a great offense tonight, although I thought Carolina might score some defensive points, but they just couldn't get it done. I just hope our QB learns a little humility from all of this.

The brisket is special, I recommend that every one try one at least once.
Want to give a shout out to the Carolina Panthers fans & team on a fine season. Tough to loose a Super Bowl, we know have lost 5 of them. It was a great NFL season with many great games.
For the Bronc's we'll re-load find a new QB and have a real shot for a back 2 back Super Bowl. Seattle couldn't pull it off, nor New England. GO BRONCO'S.
