Welcome & Conversion Question

Hey everyone, wild to find a board with so much great information on Weber grills!

I have started the conversion process on a 2019 Genesis II E-345 from 2019. Like most people I just assumed you unplug the NG connection and plug in a propane tank....LOL.

I bought and installed this conversion kit: https://outdoorgasproducts.com/prod...ded-5-propane-and-regulator-lp-fuel-converter

When I fired up the grill, I had very low flames across all the burner tubes. Closed the lid and it never got about about 225 degrees.

So I would appreciate any help troubleshooting, or is my best option to find a Manifold? And if yes, does anyone know if this would work: https://www.grillparts.com/Weber/genesis/2022-400.aspx?productID=64535 (It says 2022+ but their support page isn't working so I can't ask them)

Happy to answer any questions, and would appreciate the help!
Thanks,
Bob

I'm not familiar with your grill so I wouldn't trust that manifold because of the 2022 and up designation. Try to Google the LP equivalent of your grill to get a model # you can use to find the right part number. Another way to do it is to look up the part # of your NG manifold, the LP equivalent is usually one number higher or lower at the end than that.

Bob, as noted by Chris. There is no such thing as a "conversion kit" for a Weber grill. AFAIK Weber is unique in making it nearly impossible to convert from one fuel to another easily. Why? IDK. They just are. Can it be done? Yes, BUT as noted the only truly proper way is to buy the proper manifold and all the associated fittings, lines and regulator (if called for) as noted on the parts list for the grill model you have with the desired fuel type.
Any re-seller like Amazon, Flea Bay, You Tube video what have you that tells you differently is lying through their teeth

Your grill is an E-435, not a 345. That makes a big difference. That will be a tougher manifold to source.

However, I have a Genesis II 4 burner propane grill in my back yard that I bought a couple years ago to rehab, but gave up due to the whole bottom of the frame being rotted out. The grill is otherwise is good shape, but I would be willing to sell you the manifold off it. Private Message me if you are interested.

But I assume that part number for the Manifold is the NG version of the manifold, so if anyone knows the LP part number or who might have one, it would be much appreciated.
Using your schematic, the part # of your manifold is 67466. It took me a couple of tries to come up with #67464 as the correct part number for the LP manifold.
