Weight Limits for a Rotisserie?

I have a new Weber 7519 Gas Grill Rotisserie for my Genesis EP330.


Is a 22lb whole turkey too much for weight to ask of this rotisserie or will it handle a well balanced gobbler?

Too much.................really. I think a 22lb anything would even be too heavy for my Wolf and it has a 3/4" solid SS rod and very large motor

the listed weight limit is 20 pounds. I bet you'd be ok. edit: though I've found the bigger the bird with turkeys the harder 7get it to rotate smoothly.
