Weber Summit 650 refurb

This part is corroded, Weber say I need an entire manifold
That’s a Jetfire type ignition. The tips are some type of iron and tend to rot after many heat-cool cycles weakens them.

I can’t imagine there is a great supply of used Summits in your area to harvest parts from.

Every burner tube needs its own ignition in that design. You might want to consider some type of alternative ignition system if that’s what’s wrong. I think I would want an electronic ignition that’s used on some of the later model Genesis that can send multiple sparks.

Was thinking about that, surely it’s just there to bridge the gap for the spark… don’t think I’ll be going to Florida jut yet, that hurricane looks horrific, hope you guys are all good

GLenn:
I have a Summit S670 sitting in my driveway that is going to be parted out. one of the flavorizer bars is toast, but the others are still OK. Burners didn't look too bad from what I could see, but they definitely need a cleaning. Manifold should be fine. PM me and let me know if those parts might interest you,

Josh, Those tank scale indicators for the control panel are expensive. I think I paid over $50 for one on the S470 rehab I did a couple years ago.
