Hello,
Thank you for this amazing forum.
A mate of mine gave me his old weber spirit classic 210. When I look at pictures of it online the picture does not look anything like the BBQ... Please see the picture attached.
I have checked the following page (https://www.virtualweberbullet.com/determine-age-weber-grills-smokers/#gasdecryption) but couldn't figure this out either. Would really appreciate understanding what I have in front of me...

I wish I had searched for this forum before as I have probably made some mistakes.
I have changed the Flavorizer bars that were rusted for these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0777J2X81/
I have changed the grill for this Iron cast https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B085LHZQQ6/
Gave it a huge scrub with two bottles of this and a lot of water. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000IU3VU8/
I am sure this machine deserves to be taken to pieces and reassembled but I don't have the time right now with 3 kids under 6 and my own company to run.
Everything seems to be working okay for now. Some of the items that might need immediate attention:
=> The "knob" on one of the weels is missing. I don't know how one can call this but I would like to replace it as I wouldn't want the beast to tip while operating?

=> There is a slight inwards curve in the top part of the lid which gathers water even when it is covered. Not sure if this shows in the picture. Is this normal?

=> A sticker in the compartment seems to forbid us from putting the gas canister inside the compartment. This is very tempting. Any reason why I would not want to hide the gas canister there?
=> The top grill is very rusty. Would like to change it. Do you know what it is called?

Many thanks for your time helping me!
Best,
Henri
