Looks Yummy Bobby! I think if I could only own one grill, it would be the Q3200. Not that I want to throw away all my other grills, but it is my daily driver. They are so versatile and no frame to rust. With the stainless steel grates that Larry and Bruce have and the aftermarket rotisserie kit it would definitely be the all around grill IMHO.Smoked a turkey breast on my Weber Q for Thanksgiving. Turned out amazing. These things cook so great. I have a 2000 for tailgating and camping, loved the way it cools so I replaced by spirit w. 3200. Love it. Im now rehabbing a Genesis, so this may go up north. But it’s great. View attachment 18793
Bruno, it is truly the best grill for veggies with the narrow spaces on the CI grates for sure.Love my 320, it’s got new burners and grates and it looks new for an 8 year old grill. If it went down tomorrow I’d have a 3200 ordered the next day!
Good looking turkey!
I use my 320 for veggies and the CI pans, but great grill!!
Keep showing pics of your cooks Bobby, maybe in the grilling section of the forum. I am sure we can learn from you.I also use for veggies. I smoke in it too. Besides turkey I’ve done queso dip. A couple beer can chickens. A full turkey last year.
I bet youd like this turkey lol One of my thanksgiving guests also didnt like turkey, but loved this!!I can't imagine fitting a dead buzzard in there LOL. Also dislike turkey so cannot imagine WANTING to fit one in my 320 LOL
I put the smoker box on the left side of large burner. Middle burner off. Soaked up cherry and hickory. It burns fast but I just fill the chips a few times.I could eat turkey once a month to include left overs.
I agree with the versatility of the Q grills. Add that to the simplicity and durability, they are a tough grill to beat. Probably the best all around grill a guy could own.
How did you add "smoke" to your turkey cook on the Q3200
medium on the grill, measured w the igrill probe in the turkey, had to rely on the lid thermometer cause my igrill is the mini w 1 probe, but i just monitored the igrill temp until 165, let sit an hr and carvedInteresting. What temp did you cook the turkey at and how were you measuring it?
its my only grill right now (besides the genesis I just just started rehabbing) so it was that or nothing lol turked out incredibleAwesome! I would probably never think to try that on a Q, but you can't argue with GREAT results! I hope your Thanksgiving was as good as that turkey looks .
My 3200 has 2 burners so I turned one off for true indirect . I set in pan. But took 2 other pieces of foil and rolled them up to make a rackdid you just was the aluminum pan or did you set that on something else to cook indirect?
