Weber Platinum Quick Restore

Decided my old Platinum needed a little refresh, so about 3 hours worth of work (that includes letting paint dry), and about $10 I made it a little prettier. All I did was tear it down and five everything a good scrub with some greased lightning. I hit the leg braces and table with some primer. Then I hit the leg braces with some "gunmetal" wheel paint I still had, and the table with some dark grey "textured" paint. I also replaced the bolts that hold the table on because the old ones were getting rusty and a couple of them had damaged threads. I also touched up the bottom rack with some flat black I had on hand.

Eventually I want to get one of those newer dark grey handles for the lid to kinda match the rest.

Wow looks brand new. Did you use "greased lightning" on the table too? The table looks brand new. Nice job.

Yes, I used it to clean off some stains and any other residue as best I could before primer and paint. Thanks!
