Bruce, that's just an optical illusion in those pictures? I would swear those bars are wavy and improperly spaced. Weird.

I'm sure, it just didn't look that way on Bruce's pictures.
I'll do a comparison also with all my other gratesWhen time allows, I will add this new set to my long running Stainless Steel Grate Throwdown Challenge thread.
At least they’re chamfered!

I probably won't do a review since you covered everything already. I didn't realize you already did a review. Thanks again!ANOTHER NEW CONTENDER:
Enter Dictirdy. Yah, it's a pretty wacky name, but the product is exceptional. Recently showing up on Amazon at 50% off, this has to be the most unbelievable price ($39.59) for an almost perfect set of super heavy, 304 stainless, 9mm grates. They check just about every box. About the only minor negative is that if you are a Chargon user (like me) you have to navigate around a center support. This is identical to the equally nice 9mm grates from Qlimetal, but one place where grates from Dave Santana or an old Summit are perhaps nicer in that...
Josh, the more reviews the better! Other than the center support that gets a little in the way of using my preferred Chargon cleaning tool, I can't see anything to fault in these incredibly priced grates. I will be very interested in what how your comparisons come out.
I would compare them to a new set of Qulimetal 9mm because that's probably the closest comparison. I have several sets of new unused grates to compare. I can definitely side by side compare them to new sets of 9930s and Dave's also.I will be very interested in what you think when you get a chance to give them a good look - and maybe compare to a clean set of those Weber 9930 grates.
The 9930's are probably still superior just from the standpoint of having no center support, which I complain about all the time on these grates. So, I'm actually going to use these and see if and how much that bothers me keeping in mind of course how much they cost.I would compare them to a new set of Qulimetal 9mm because that's probably the closest comparison. I have several sets of new unused grates to compare. I can definitely side by side compare them to new sets of 9930s and Dave's also.

I have to say that I don't like the way they look either, and the price would stop me in my tracks if I did. Also curious what you guys think of these Laser Cut 1/4" thick SS grates? I have considered getting a set but the only thing holding me back is the look. I don't think they look bad but I like my vintage restorations to stay pretty much looking original or at least looking like it could have come that way from the factory.

I probably won't end up getting a set but I bet they work really well. For $285, hard pass. I’m sure they’re great. But that’s STEEP
Yeah I don't think they would look right on a nicely restored Classic Weber.I have to say that I don't like the way they look either, and the price would stop me in my tracks if I did.
