Weber Parts Deals

I would love to have some RCP grates, but at $90 to my door, that is a tough pill to swallow
For my forever grills it's a easy choice but for a flip Grill I can understand not wanting to cut into your profits plus Qulimetal 9mm grates are really good grates regardless.

IMO, 9mm grates are probably overkill on a flip grill. I personally don't think the average buyer realizes the significance of 7mm vs 9mm. Some, sure, but the average buyer not so much. I have tried a couple times to offer an upgrade (at cost) to 9mm over 7mm and what happened most of the time is they want the 9mm but at the same price as the 7mm and wind up settling for the 7mm rather than pay approx $50 for the upgrade.

I do however put the 9mm on some special flip builds.

I agree with all of that Bruce. I have sold grills with 9 mm grates but most of them I sold with Qulimetal 7 mm. Even the 7 mm I think are pretty nice and I use them on some of my grills currently.

I considered that as well. On the sidewinder I am doing and the E330's, I have Weber 9mm (free out of summits) that I will be selling with those. But I am not sure that even at $75 I would put them on a flipper.
