I know some folks are making wood handles for older kettles, but is there a way to change these new plastic pieces of %@*%$ for some cool wood handles?

Email Brian. His single screw handles should work just fine.

EDIT: Depends how new is new I should clarify. The kind with the silly heat shield is a totally different handle assemply and not hot swap-able.
