Honestly I think I can get it done with just a cross clamp pinch while crimping to keep it from flattening out.

I think you're right about a pinch. Maybe it could be practiced on a salvage burner that was not to shot but not good enough to use. Or a burner that is failed in one area and would be tossed anyway.

Absolutely Val! That's the plan and I've been saving those old burners just for that. I have a whole bucket full of test Worthy old burners that are not fit for use as is anymore.
