I seem to be missing the tank scale. Anyone know where i can find one ?

I am a fan of those late Silvers, rust in the cabinet notwithstanding. I think it was Weber's last stand using the "classic" design but trying to make it look more "modern" for changing tastes - and stiffer competition from imported grills.

So, if you can fix - or replace if needed - the bottom and do other rust repairs, I think you can keep it a cabinet grill. The cabinet isn't all that useful perhaps, but it does make these grills look better - at least to my eye.

The rest are the usual suspects - as needed: burners, flavorizer bars, and grates. If you are keeping for yourself, maybe you can spring for some really nice stainless rod grates that will up your grill results.

On the scale, here is one (of many) on eBay. Maybe you can offer a lower price and get it:

You can also post about your need in the "Buy/Sell/Swap" section here. The big problem is that shipping has gone sky high, so sending a heavy part becomes a lot more expensive. Accordingly, many members who might have spares aren't eager to get involved. We have other members in MA, though, so maybe someone can help you with an in-person purchase.

Update…. Fully disassembled. This botttom floor piece is an issue. There is a little bit of other rust on a couple other things that are small and can be fixed. I would like to save the cabinet on this. Maybe someone that fabricates or welds can do something ?

I have a rusty one which still should work but you would need to disassemble and repaint it
As it is it is good for holding a tank only
If you are close to the cape it might be worth coming to pick it up
