Weber 6631001 Genesis E-330 Grill Control panel damage

During a recent move from Idaho to Texas my OEM Natural Gas Manifold Assembly controls were bent (photos show one bent, one normal position. I have found a complete replacement part (#70057). My question is, can the control pin be safely bent back or is a new assembly required? Thanks

That is the valve stem that is bent. YOu can try to bend it back, but it might not operate smoothly or at all afterwards. Also, you will need to check it for leaks with the soapy water test to ensure it is not leaking propane. Otherwise, you can likely just replace the valve itself.

Those generation of grills get pushed to the curb fairly often these days. You might be able to find one to scavenge a valve off of as well.
