Adam...calling the orchard might be worth a shot...there is a good chance they have some wood that they trimmed a while back that is ready for use...worth a call, no??
The orchard I went to had chopped down a bunch of trees 8 months prior and it was just sitting in a pile in the back...when I called I think she thought I wanted firewood but after re-explaining what I was looking for she invited me right out to take all that my car would hold...and said to come back for more when that ran out!
