Wanted: Natural Gas Manifold for Genesis 1200

Hello,

New to posting to the forum, but long time follower. I’ve refurbished a number of Weber Genesis 1000s with the help of posts on this forum, and now I’m in search of a part that can seemingly no longer be sourced from Weber or third party sites: a natural gas manifold compatible with Genesis 1000 series grills (part 56039). I’m seeking to convert my beloved refurbished Weber Platinum 1200 series LP grill to NG. If anyone has any leads, or one they’re willing to part with, please let me know. Willing to buy or trade.

Thank you!

Those aren't too hard to come by J, offer up, Facebook marketplace, and Craigslist are littered with ads for NG grills that nobody wants. Post a picture of your restored grill and maybe somebody will help you with a trade for your tank scale and LP manifold. Welcome to the forum!

Something else to consider ..... LP to NG is the much easier conversion.
You can simply bore out the orifice holes and add the NG hose.
This would be my first choice, unless I happened to have a NG
manifold on hand.

Dave, have you done this? It seems to me that it may be more involved than this. If you don't mind, I have questions that you might be able to answer.

Thanks, Steve and Dave. I’ve considered doing this, but I’m now quite sure of the type of gas valves I have (continuous or fixed). They don’t have a channel going all the way around like I’ve seen in pictures of continuos valves, but they also don’t have three holes like I’ve seen in fixed (these have two holes - one large hole with a small channel and one smaller hole, also with a small channel. Attaching pictures if anyone is interested, as well as pictures of my grill.

That's a good looking grill, I have one just like it. I'm sure you'll come across that manifold sooner than later.
