Walmart end of season BBQ clearance

Founds some decent deals at my local Wal Mart last night.

Managed to pick up the 14” Smokey Joe for $25 Cdn yesterday. As luck would have it, they had one original kettle in stock marked down to $80 from $159. I snagged it and will give it to my Dad for the holidays. No one touch system on this one however… not a deal breaker.

Also noticed they’re clearing out their 8 lbs bags of KBB for $3.00. A 15 lbs bag around these parts is about $15… so… by my math 24 lbs (3 bags) for $12 seems pretty good as well.

Pretty happy with my loot.

Guess they start the sales earlier in the year up there in the frozen North. Still waiting here. Just got home from Walmart and they didn't have any grilling gear of fuel on sale. Did get a couple slabs of fresh spare ribs for $1.98/lb. and a nice half pork loin for $2.44/lb.

So I went back to pick up some KBB. Website said they were in stock but nobody could find any. So… they priced matched the larger bags of R.O. which are pretty much the same size as 2 small KBB bags. 8 bags later… $48 well spent.
