Vortex makes a GBS style grate with removable center

Don't think I'll be getting one, but it's the first time I've seen this grate. Would probably consider it if it was stainless steel, but it's not.

Still, glad to see another brand putting out a GBS-like grate

Agree, not stainless makes it a pass for me. Plus it lacks the modularity of the GBS.

I do REALLY like the extra grate area, sized closer the the size of the Vortex. I have GBS and with the center removed, there really isn't that much usable grate space.

I'd have to pass on that. It's the same price as I paid for the Weber 8835 with the heavy stainless rods and flip up sides on Amazon.
