I couldn’t resist buying a $4 (Teleflora) red kettle today. I have wanted one but never pulled the trigger on eBay or other sites for one. Hoping you can help answer some questions...
1. I thought these were plastic based on ads I have seen. This one is metal. Ooh...rare?
2. Where can I find the date code...lol
3. Any tips for refurbishing it?

Looks like someone used it to hold peanuts or another snack. What suggestions do others have for putting in these?4AAD3A18-C507-4F01-9C64-19AE25F80CC5.jpegC18F300C-23E0-44CC-A8F6-256D4AE04A16.jpeg5F50955E-8544-4A2B-8693-C3C4EC9DB5A9.jpeg4AAD3A18-C507-4F01-9C64-19AE25F80CC5.jpegC18F300C-23E0-44CC-A8F6-256D4AE04A16.jpeg5F50955E-8544-4A2B-8693-C3C4EC9DB5A9.jpeg

I bought a red one with the more traditional red color a month or so ago. It is metal as well. I paid $10 for it.

Of course, smoke almonds! Wonder if 1 or 2 “baby” baby back ribs would fit?

Bruce - does yours seem to have some age on it too? I think mine is old.

Yah, it looks like someone had it on display and maybe got bounced around a little, but it is in really pretty good shape. In the photo below you can see the one ding on it....otherwise, it is in pretty good condition. Clean inside.

Very nice! Mine does not have the wooden handle on the lid, but it does have it on the side. Nice business cards!!!

Some buddies of mine have suggested a petite filet or a hummingbird breast. Now that’s creative!
