Vac Seal and Freeze BBQ Beans

What's the best approach? I'm thinking just letting the foodsaver do it's own thing is going to suck the life out of my beans leaving them squishy and mushed.

They have been in the fridge over night. Use the manual method and don't seal too tight? I'm pretty sure my model has that function.

Thanks,
Todd

It's the freezing that tends to make beans mushy. The flavor isn't affected but the texture is. If you want to give it a shot anyway, fill the bag(s), shape accordingly, then stick in the freezer to freeze. When solid, vac and seal.

Thanks Kevin,

And hmmm......I guess there goes my "benefit" to making 2 pans worth of beans on the WSM this weekend then.

I'll give it a shot because I might explode if I try to eat all the beans by weeks end.
